Tenders will be received at this office until noon on Friday, the 20th January, 1860, for the converance of mails between Kaiapoi aud Rangiora twice a week, for 12 months, from the Ist day of April, 1860. . ..,,', Mails to start from Kaiapoi on Mondays and Thursdays, half an hour after the arrival of the mail 'from Christchurch, and from Rangiora on Tuesdays and Fridays, so as to reach Kaiapoi by 11.30 aim. 4 CARRIAGE OF MAIL BETWEEN KAIAPOI & SALTWATER CREEK, ONCE A WEEK. Tenders will be received at this office until noon on Friday, the 20th January, 1860, for the conveyance of mails once a week between Kaiapoi and Saltwater Creek, for 12 months, from the Ist day of April, 1860. Mails to start from Kaiapoi every Tuesday at 9 a.m., leaving Saltwater Creek on the return to Kaiapoi at 3 p.m. on the same day. 5. LYTTELTON & AKAROA MAIL. Tenders will be received at this office until noon on Friday, the 20th day of January, 1860, for the conveyance of a mail weekly between Lyttelton and Akaroa, for 12 months, from the Ist day of April, 1860, by one of the following routes: — Ist. By the route by boat to Pigeon Bay; thence by land to Duvauchelle Bay, thence by boat: to Akaroa, or varying this latter part of the route by land from Duvauchelle Bay to Akaroa. 2nd. Prom Lyttelton to Purao (or Rhodes' Bay), from Purao by the direct road to .Duvauchelle Bay, thence to Akaroa by land or water. Tenders must.provide for receipt and delivery of the Pigeon Bay mail on the journey either way between Akaroa and Lyttelton, An open bag to be taken up and delivered at Dufauchelle Bay if required. Xo mail to exceed 40 pounds in weight. Three hours to be allowed at Akaroa after the deivery of a mail to the Postmaster for the return mail to be made up. The mail to start from Lyttelton every Tuesday, and from Akaroa every Thursday. Tenders for this service must include the cost of conveyance of branch mails to and from Pigeon Bay, and must state the route proposed to be adopted and the spot at which the branch mails will join the main line. The Pigeon Bay mail not to exceed 28 lbs. in weight. 6. AKAROA TO OKAIN'S BAY. Tenders will be received at this office until noon n Friday, the 20th day of January, 1860, for the onveyance of a mail once a fortnight between Akaroa and Okain's Bay, for the 12 months, from the first Thursday in April, 1860. The contractor to start from Akaroa two hours a Iter the arrival of the mail from Lyttelton at that place. 1- CHRISTCHURCH & WAITANGI MAIL. Tenders will he received at this office until noon ol> *nday, the 20th day of January, 1860, for the - conveyance of a mail fortnightly between Christciurchand the river Waitangi, for 12 months, from the Ist day pf April, 1860.
