We are informed by Captain Scott, of the Spray, that on the 29th or 30th of January, the ship Arnim, of 1000 tons burthen, arrived in Otago from Sydney, eight days out, with 2500 sheep, of which she had lost but one. This vessel is a German and is well adapted for carrying large numbers of stock. She has a contract to fetch down 5000 In all, and will therefore make another trip. The sheep thus imported are, we learn, peculiarly well bred, and are •the property of a gentleman from New South Wales who has purchased a run in Otago.
