The Acis left on Saturday last; that day she spoke the schooner Ocean Queen, 18 days out, and 14 miles from this port; she had been as far as Cape Campbell and the master (Julian) believed himself to be then on the West Coast. The Acis corrected the mistake and sent a supply of provisions on board. The Ocean Queen seemed to be making for Pigeon Bay, but the weather came on very thick. The Acis left Timaru on Thursday evening. The Mary Thomson had arrived, but had not taken in any cargo, and in a squall that evening in endeavouring to get under weigh parted her cable, but was able to stand out to sea. The American whaler Milo, left Akaroa on Feb. 12th. One hand, a. Maori named Reuben, from Hick's Bay, was missing. The French whaler Caulaincourt, arrived in Akaroa on the 22nd Feb.
