PUBLIC NOTICE; CONVEYANCE OP MAILS. 1. CHRIS TCHUECH AND LYTTELTON MAIL. TENDERS will- be received at this office until noon on TUESDAY, the 23rd day of March, instant, for the conveyance of a mail between Lyttelton and Chvistchurch, and the delivery of letters daily, for 12 months from the Ist April, 185 S. The mail to start from Christchuvch daily (except on Sundays) at 9 o'clock, a.m., conveying letters and Post Office parcels, and newspapers for delivery at the Post Office, Lyttelton, and an open bag containing letters and newspapers for delivery to persons living on the road side along the line of route. Another mail to start from Lyttelton daily (except on Sundays) at 3 o'clock, p.m., conveying letters and newspapers for delivery at the Post Oflice, Christchurch, and an open bag containing letters and newspapers for delivery to persons living on the road side along the line of route.
