ALL persons who stand indebted to Mr. James Rule, late of Lyttelton, butcher, are requested to pay their respective accounts into my hands, on or before the Ist day of AUGUST Next; in default of which legal proceedings will be taken to enforce the same without further notice, and Interest upon such accounts as are not then paid will be charged at the rate of £8 per cent, per annum, from the time when such accounts became due until the day of payment. All parties desirous of paying their accounts on or before the Ist of August, without interest, may have the particulars of the same, on application at my office, in London street, Lyttelton. THE PROVINCE OF CANTERBURY has been divided into new Electoral Districts, and fresh Electoral Rolls are being made up for each. The last day for receiving claims to vote throughout the province is THE 28th OF THIS MONTH. All persons who wish to vote at the ensuing elections of Superintendent and members of the Provincial Council must have their claims sent in before four o'clock on that day, and be prepared, if called upon, to prove their qualifications according to law. . If any person has a qualification in more than one district, he must send in a claim for each district separately.
