The Soames Estate.—We understand that a 'power of attorney' from Mrs. Soames, to the : Superintendent, Archdeacon Matthias, ■ and Mri Gresson, empowering those gentlemen to take charge of the Soames Estates, and convey them to the College, to be held in trust for the purrpose of endowing, one or more scholarships in ' Christ's College. The .income from this pro> p£rty is already very considerable, and . th.c. : arrears of rent due, : which the attorneys are empowered to collect, mustbe very large. ;
