ADELAIDE.
(From the S. A. Register, Dec. 15J The weather during the week having been so rough, harvesting on the plains has been retarded, so that we may not expect as much new wheat in next week as this. The crops promise well, and wheat is offering freely at ss. 9d. to 6s. for present delivery. These prices not being likely to be maintained during the month, buyers of flour expect to have it at 10s. to 20s. per ton under the prices of last week ; and the operations for immediate delivery are limited. Barley and oats are much the same as last quoted. Shipments of wool go forward on an extended scale. The number of bales for shipment this season cannot yet be accurately as-? eertained, but we estimate a considerable increase upon the exports of-, last year. The quality and condition of the wools are superior. The Alma, the first ship of the season, makes an unusually early start; she takes her departure from London to-morrow with 2,043 bales of wool on board, besides copper and copper ore.
