AUSTRIA.
(From the Times' Correspondent.) Vienna,.6th April. The following authentic information relative to there-organisation of tbe Danubian Princi. palities has been obtained. Tbe Moldavo-Wal-lachian question is not definitively settled by the treaty of peace signed on tbe 30th March, hut the " parties who have made peace" have agreeed to send a commission, aud will proceed to draw up netv organic statutes, and propose such reforms as may appear requisite and desirable. When the project of the national Divans is completed it will be sent to Constauti-
no pie, and, after ,having, being revised by th e representatives of the Powers, the new constitution will be granted to the Principalities by their Suzerain, the Sultan. It is not probable that Moldavia; and Wallachia will be unitedbut one of the duties of- lhe commission will be to learn the wishes of the people, on the -subject. After the internal affairs of the Principalities' have been definitively settled, and, the new institutions established, Hospodars, natives (>f the Danubi.«n Principalities, will be elected. My informant was not inclined to enter into any further details, but tbe foregoing will sufice to show that the parties who have signed the treaty of peace are resolved to maintain all the privileges of the Danubianf Principalities, hut without in any way interfering with the prerogatives of the Suzerain Power.
Horrible Famine in Silesia.—-We learn from Berlin that the dreadful famine existing in some districts of Silesia has been concealed as lung as possible. The German journals, not Prussian, are at last speaking of it. Child murder has become common from sheer starvation. ,
