The riders in all the races, excepting the Hack Stakes, must appear in the usual jockey costume. . A bell will ring for saddling, and another lor starting. Not more than five minutes allowed aftev the last bell, when the horses at the post will be started. Horses to be at the post for the Hurdle Mace, and the Jockey Club Plate at 12 o'clock on each day. The rules of the Canterbury Jockey Club will be strictly enforced. The entrances or sweepstakes in each race will be 10 per cent, on the amount of the plate or stakes. The prizes will be paid by the Treasurer on Saturday, loth March, at 3 p.m., at the Golden Fleece Hotel. Subscription Lists open at the different hotels.
