The Spectator of the same date says, *' Flour is still selling at £33, but parties are asking £35." Wheat, according to the same paper, was fetching 1 Is. ti bushel, with a firmer market: according to \\\u Independent, it was selling at 10s. a bushel. Port Cooper cheese realised from Is. 3d. to Is. 4d. per lb.
