SEVERAL Gentlemen interested in the welfare, socially and politically, of the settlers in this Province, being deeply sensible of the advantages afforded by the Savings' Bank Institutions of the parent country, and adjacent colonies, are about to found a similar Bank in Lyttellon. i The Lyttelton Savings' Bank will offer to the labouring classes, servants, mechanics, tradesmen, and other persons, a place of safety in ■ which to deposit their earnings, whilst, at the - same time, the money thus lodged will not be uuremuuerative.
