NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS
In future, all communications to the editor of the Lyttelton Times must be left at the office before noon on Thursday, in order that they may be inserted in the payer of the following Saturday. No communication will receive any attention unless accompanied by the name and address of the author, not necessarily for publication, but as evidence of his good faith.
For the convenience of persons living at. or in the ■neighbourhood of Chris/church, a special messenger will leave Mr. Bishop's Store, in the Market-place, every Thursday morning at eight o'clock ; and all eom.vinnirations left at Mr. Bishop's before that time ivill be forwarded.
Birth. On Thursday, the Bth instant, at Lyttelton, Mrs. Willcox, of a daughter. Birth. —On the same day, at Lyttelton, Mrs. G undry, of a son.
