CHRISTCHURCH.
Mr. Tancred arrived at his own house on Friday night last, none the worse for the long journey. The fracture has been successfully reduced, and he is doing as well as could be expected.
On Saturday a Meeting was held pt the Land Office, Gn the subject of bringing into use the Coal lately discovered in the Malvern Hills. A Committee was appointed to arrange for the formation of a Company, to carry this object into effect.
St. Patrick's day v.as kept by a Cricket Match between members of the C.C.C. and the working men; the club winning as on a former occasion. Several Races also took place.
"We regret that the Report of the Church Meeting compels us to curtail our report of the Christchurch news.
