GENTLEMEN, A VACANCY having occurred in your -£*- Council by the resignation of Mr. Cholmondeley, I beg to offer myself as a Candidate, and respectfully request the honour of youtvotes at the ensuing election, to take place on the 3rd of April. Gentlemen, TXAVING received the following- Requi. -1-1- sition from some of my fellow-Colonists to allow myself to be put in nomination as President of your Society at the Election which is to take place on the 3rd of April next, I have determined to offer myself as a Candidate for that Office. Should you deem me not unworthy to nil a post of such great honour and responsibility I shall endeavour, as far as in me lies, to merit your confidence and esteem.
