OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Annual Licensing Meeting of the Magistrates of the Lyttelton District, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate's Court at Lyttelton, on Tuesday the 15th day of April. PUBLIC NOTICE, A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING of the 'Land Purchasers will be held at the Land Office at Christchurch on Wednesday next, the 12th inst., for the purpose of meeting the Key. the Bishop Designate of the Diocese, previous to his return to England. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 1 st of April next, a public Auction will be held in Lyttelton for the Sale of TOWN LAND in Christchurch and Lyttelton. Parties desirous of purchasing any particular Section may have the same included in the list for sale by making application to that effect at the offices of the Association, either at Lyttelton or Christchurch, on or before the 24th instant. To give effect to such application, it will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each section, " viz. 24:1. for the half acre section in the capital, and 121. the quarter acre section in the Port Town," at the Union Bank, to the credit of the Canterbury Association on or before the same day.
