rI'he Ohinemuri Jockey Club's Races on St Patrick's day were very successful. The results are as follnws : — , 'J'rial Stakes— Colonist, 1 ; Sweep,;2. Trotting Match — Neliy G-rey, 1 ; Kanger, 2. Miners Purse — Welcome Davy. 1 ; Colonist, 2. Hurdie Kace — Bushman, 1 ; Catch 'em, 2. Two Mile Handicap — Diver, 1 ; Welcome Davy, 2. Consolation Eace— Barney, 1 ; The Sweep, 2. The Whangarei Eaces take place to-day. The entries are good, and an excellent day's sport is anticipated.
