FORESTERS' BALL.
The Ball to celebrate tlie fifth anniyersary of Court Royal Oak, iST > » 6,497, Ancient Ordes of Foresters, was held in the Teinperauce Hall, last night, It was an immense success reflecting great credit on the committee for bringing things to sucli a successful issue.
rhero was f nlly forty couple present. The music was dispensed by Sheehan?s Band, and was in their usual good style. Messrs Whelan and Bonner officiated as Masters of the Ceremonies and gave universal satisfaction. A sumptuous repast was provided by Mr J. Maxwell, of the Belfast Bakery, in his usual first class sty.e. The H all was very tastefully decorated with fiags, chinese lanteras, evergreens, &c. The belle of the ball was , well amongst such a galaxy of youth and beautv it is very dfficult to decide. The following are a few of the dresses:--Miss Daveron,black velvet, real lace silver flowers. MissFleetwood, pink n n's veiling, white lace.
Miss A. Fleetwood, pink nun s veiling cardinal lace. . Mrs J. Salt, green check silk, trimmed with brocaded silk. Mrs Kusden, flowered sateen, white lace. , Mrs Atty, cream satin, velvet body, white lace. Miss Lemon, mauve sateen, pink bows. . . Miss Biggins, cream sateen, pink trimmings. Mrs Hay, black silk, gold jewellery. Miss Bettlehiem, cream sateen, pink lace.
Miss Downey, black velvet, pale green trimmings. Miss Clark, cream nun's veiling, real lace. Mrs Bonner, black silk, cardmal maltese lace, silver flowers. Miss Harvey, black cashmere, plaid sasb, silver jewellery. Miss Angus, white satin, cream lace, silver jewellery. Mrs T. Fitzgerald, black cashmere, white lace, caidinal bows. Miss Fiercy, white lustre, cardinal lace and flowers, silver jewellery. Miss Doolan, white satin, pale blue trimmings, silver flowers. There w ere many other very pretty costumes in the rocm, but ourrcporter has either forgotten the details or was unacquainted with the names of the ladies.
