Intelligence has been reeeived that the British troops, on Baturday last, abandoned Guhat, on the Niie above Metemmeh, and retired to Abuklea, to the Southward, The movemont was effeeted without moldstation from the enemy. It- is possible the troops will fall back to Gakdul, where mere water is obtainable. It is reported that the Muhdi, with fifty thousand followers, has left Khartoum, and is marchxng on Metemmeh.
