Lord Wolseley telegraphs that an eye-witness states that the rebels entered Khartoum on 26 January, and that General Gordon was killed by a volley from the invading troops while he was going to the Austrian consulate. Her Magisty the Queen is progressing favorablely, the severity of cold from which she was suffering having considerable lessend.
