This Day. Of the three men entombed by the railway tunnel falling in on the Well-ingtor-Manuwatu Coy's works on Mon day afternoon, two were recoveredalive, but one died since. The third man ia supposed to be dead. Eeffering to the Sunday liquor trading the R. M. said in order to get a glimpse of what was going on insido during prohibited hours the police were obliged to slip in, and do thinga not at all pleasant. His opinion was if they would confine themselves to the maintainance of good order outside hotels, and not show any anxiety to go inside, the whole policy of the act would be given effect to.
