This day. At 2 a.m. yesterday, a six-roomed house at Spreydon, was hurned down. It was insured for £250, and furniture for £50, in the London and Lancashire Oifi.ee. The supposed eause was a defectiye chimney. Just aiterwards a two storey house in Tuam-stseet was also hurned down. Insurances: house £700 in the South British, stock, £200 in the Equitahle, and £200 in the United. The cause of the fire is unknown. Nothing was saved.
