A CONFESSED FORGER.
. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. Robert Clery-Fletcher, who admitted forging a letter to Auckland purported to be signed by Dr. J. Macfarlahe, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Accused had been questioned by the police re an application he made for admission to the Police Force. The detective doubted the genuineness of his testimonials. Later, in Wellington accused admitted that they were forgeries, but no use was made of them.
