The final draft of stations by the Meihodist' Conr'ere.nce contains the following appointments: Cuba-street, Paimerstpn North, Rev. J. D. McArthur; Foxton and Shannon, home missionary; Levin, Rev". W. Beckett; Otaki, Rev. 11. Spencer. The death occurred at Stirling, Otago, yesterday, of Mr. Thomas Parker, a very old and highly respected resident of the district. The late Mr Parker was engaged in farming pursuits and always took a keen interest in public affairs and was chairman of directors of the Stirling Dairy Company and at one time a member of the National Dairy Association. He leaves a widow and* grown-up family. Mr F. E. Parker, of Levin, is a nephew, and left for the South yesterday afternoon.
