MEETING AT OHAU. Mr Timcrerl Cooper, who is conducting an organising campaign for the Fanners' Tnion throughout this district, held a meeting at Ohau last evening. Mr A. McLeavey occupied the chair and there was all attendance of 15 farmers. After hearing Mr Cooper's address, it was unanimously decided to join the Manawatu sub-provincial district in tlie organisation scheme, and a motion was ndonted fixing the subscription at £1 as the minimum. The meeting on the whole was most successful and the organiser is confident of a strong .blanch being I'nrn d there. Mr Cooper will meet the Otaki farmers to-night and to-morrow night will addi;\-s a meeting at Manakau.
