The United Press Paris correspondent reports that after hearing the terms of the armistice the German dele.| gates asked for an immediate suspension of hostilities which was refused. The German armistice delegation asked that in»-tructions should be sent to them from Berlin by courier. The Reichstag is expected' to meet immediately to consider the armistice terms.
Washington, November 8. Mnrshal Focli reports that the German Chancellor fully empowered the armistice delegation to give an answer. New York, November 8. The German armistice courier has been despatched to Spa, tlic German headquarters and is expected, to return immediately.
The High Commissioner cables from London:
The German plenipotentiaries received the armistice conditions on Friday morning which must be accepted or refused within 72 hours.
A German proposal for the provisional .suspension of hostilities was rejected by •Marshal Foch. A German courier lias proceeded to Spa with tEe armistice conditions.
