Red Cross Shop.

Mrs J. llyder and the Misses llyder were in charge of the lied Cross Shop on Saturdey and had a most successful day the takings amounting to £27 0s Id. The various competitions were very popular and helped considerably to swell the takings. TBe results are as follows: Dinner, Mrs Remington; cushion, Mr J. Edwards; eiderdown quilt, Mr Harry Morgan; baby's dress, Miss Kathleen Stratton; camisole, Mrs H. Cottle: biscuit barrel, Mr Pyke; lady's hand bag, Mrs J. Proctor. The picture was drawn on Friday in the presence of Mesdames Ford-Hutchinson, Hoklaway, and Miss Hammond, the lucky winner being Mr Ilamsbottom.
