To-night's bill at Farland s will be headed by a gripping Yukon drama entitled "The Lure oi a Heart's Desire." On Monday "Nancy's Birthright," the story of a crime and its detection, will be fthe prelude to the first two episodes of "Tlie Iron Claw," the sensational serial that has been so long delayed but which is undoubtedly worth waiting for judging by its reception in other centres. "The Vengeance of Legal"," is ilie theme of the opening chapter and spectators will find them selves asking "Who is Laughing Mask?" before the plot has proceeded very far. The drama tells how Nancy's father discovers his lost daughter and determines to use her for his own ends, but she refuses and with the help of her lover, and a member of the g'sng. a hideous haunclibaek, she escapes and goes to warn Martindale of the gang's plans. On Tuesday something special is promised in a war film of the Battle of Messines in which the _ New Zealanders took such a distinguished part. This vivid presentation of one of the famous feats of arms of the war should not be missed.
