Farland's Pictures.
To-night Farland's present "The Combat" the story of a woman whose mother bartere her to a man for his social position, but whose real lover returned in time to deliver her from her torturer. To-morrow a magnificent 7-part drama entitled "Tlie Woman who Dared, •will be the chief offering. It is a stirring story of high adventures in the fashionable world of France and Russia before the revolution in which international papers form the central feature. The story abounds in sensations and there is a pleasing vein of romance running through it. On j Saturday "The Kid From Timaru." with Mr Bame Harschel as lecturer makes its appearance. The opening of the great, serial "The Iron Claw" on Monday is attracting a lot of interest among natrons and there are plenty of enquiries from the management regarding it.
