THE "IRISH REPUBLIC"
The "Irish Republic" is going to open an embassy in Washington with an ambassador, and will fly the flag of the republic that was put down after a few days' battle by tho British two years ago (says a United Press message from New York to the "San Francisco Bulletin.") The embassy was made possible as tho result of a meeting in which £400 was subscribed to maintain it. among the contributors being the Bolshevik! Club of New York, which gave £2. Tho Irish ambassador will be Dr McCarten. McCartcn stated he would pay an official-visit to Presidnct Wilson upon his arrival in Washington.
