Received 11.10 a.m. lliis a *pTLondon, April 17. A French Eastern communique says: . The Allies made a. successful and extensive raid on the left bank of the Struma between Ormanli and Lake Tahinos. We cleared the Bulgarian outposts from ten villages. The Greek troops brilliantly co-operated alongside the British. British - official: In the Salonika region the (Greeks crossed the Struma above Lake Tahinos and occupied the villages of Bejlikmah, Kakaraska, Salmah and Kispekida. Their casualties were slight. „ The British further north occupied Kumli and Ormanb and captured a few Bulgarians. DEATH FOE TBAITORS. Received 8.55 a.m. this day. Washington, April 17. A bill has been introduced into the United States Senate providing the death penalty for persons interfering with the war preparations.
