TN PURSUANCE and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Section 16 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1013," and with, the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the Horowhenua County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers of the said Special Rating Area, the Capital Value of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County, is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the Ratepayers who did not consent, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows: THAT for the purpose of acquiring land for a road (to be known as the Otawhiwhi Road), fencing, forming and metalling same, the said Horqwhenua County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £500 at 4 % per cent for 36£ years, _ and declares that the cost of raising the said Loan shall be payable out of the monies so raised: — SPECIAL RATING AREA. The Otawhiwhi Road Special Rating District comprising Maoa-watu-Kukutauaki 3, numbers IA, 18, 2, 2C and part 7F; Otawhiwhi Section C, IX and X Mount Robinson S.D. The foregoing Special Order, made at a special meeting of the said Horowhenua County Council, held on the 9th March', 1918, will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on the 13th April, 1918.
