SHOOTING.
LEVIN DEFENCE JLMi'LE CLUIi. The Levin Defence liifle Club fired the second competition or the third series of tropliies on baturday afternoon in tine weather. The light and wind was somewhat tricky at times making" shooting very difficult at intervals. The shooting was fairly good taken on the whole, however, Rfm. P. Jones and J. Munro tied for the day's shoot for the special prize with 47 points each, but Rfm. Jones takes the the count back, being the best finish. Conditions were 10 shots and sight er at oUO yards.
