FARLAND'S PICTURES.
Farland's to-night are screening a "big bright comedy-drama called "The Lottery Man," which alternates between thrills ana smiles all through its length.' In oiie scene a motor car gets out of hand and crashes through the drawing room of a millionaire while there are also a number of thrilling football episodes.
In order to help along the Baby Queen Carnival all holders of tickets are to be admitted for sixpence on Wednesday evenings. "Gloria's Romance" is billed "for Wednesday, supported by "The Cup of Life." ; Ofr Friday night next the super feature .will be the presentation of Hall famous story "The Christian." ' JNTo introduction is needed to this famous story, suffice to say that it is screened in a manner worthy of the theme.
Cook's orchestra of four performers from Otaki capably filled Miss White's place during her absence at Foxton last night.
