SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVAL.

A reminder is hardly necessary of the big swimming spores carnival at the Municipal bams tomorrow afternoon. An c-AceneiU programme has been drawn up, giving all the young swimmers an opportunity of showing their pace and the entries, which will be found on pagejj of this issue indicate that competition will be keen. In addition there is Air Les. Scott's handcuffed dive, and natatorial exhibitions by Messrs I'laster and Bowen.

EVERYBODY'S IN TILE EVENING. In the evening Everybody's will be the scene of an entertainment arranged by the manager, Mr Scott, in aid of the school ground improvement fund. In the first part, several well-known entertainers will appear, including Messrs K. Aitken, D. Matheson, W. Thomson, D. P. Porteous and "Hardeen" (mental telepathy). During the evening Dr Bryson will present the prizes —a very valuable lot of trophies —won at the sports in the afternoon. The second part of the programme will comprise a special selection of pictures from Ev- | erybody's extensive repertoire The big picture will be "The American Consul," featuring Theodore Roberts, and there will be another exciting instalment of "Greed,the thrilling serial running at Everybody's. The orchestra has been strengthened by the addition of a tastefully played violin, adding to the pleasure of the w'ctures.
