EVERYBODY'S PICTURES.
"The Bitter Truth", supported by a specially selected bill, shoulcj prove a magnet of high drawing power at Everybody's on Friday and Saturday. It is a Fox feature in which Anne, a girl of the slums, and her lover, Jimmy Graves, a crook, figure chiefly. Anne is wrongfully imprisoned with Jimmy and bitterness enters Jinto her soul. She resolves that her mission in life is to revenge (herself on the judge who sentenced her. She entangles the Jujlge in an intrigue and is about to ruin liim, when she real ises that she really loves him. Then she exposes a plot against him and with heroic self-sacrifice .she goes to her old-time lover. "Bitter Truth" is one of the best of the American series of which "Within the Law" was the forerunner.
