SHOOTING

LEVIN DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Levin Defence liifle Club continued its trophy shooting in fine weather. The Club fired the third competition for the second series of trophies. The weather conditions were good for shooting a,nd the shooting was fairly good for the day. Rifleman J. Munro won the special trophy given for the, day's slioot for the best score with handicap included. Conditions were 10 shots and sighter at 300 yards range. Following are the scores: — 300 yds licp. Tl. J. Munro 40 — 46 W. R. Ingram 45 — 45 S. Butt 38 7 45 J. M- Milne 37 8 45 Rochfort 34 11 45 P. Jones 44 •— 44 L. Ingram 42 1 43 E. Ingram 41 — 41 TL George 0 40 J. Bertram 38 — 38 Next Saturday the Club will continue its shooting with 10 shots and sighter at 1000 yrds range, weather permitting.
