HIGH MEAT PRICES.
Munition Workers Strike. ( Received This Day, 10.50 a.m. London, Dec. 14The meat trade is in a critical state. The butchers are keenly competing aud there are insufficient cattle. Fat bullocks are realising £90 which is fully £20 above their value under the fixed prices of dead meat. The butchers threaten to close their shops unless prices are fixed for live stock. Three thousand aeroplane workers are striking at Bristol for increased wages.
