BRILLIANT ITALIAN NAVAL FEAT.

(Received This Day, 11.25 a.m. Home, Dec. 14. Details of t-lie sinking- of the Austrian cruiser AVien show that two Italian torpedo boats cut eight cables protecting- the entrance to Trieste harbour and removed the mines. They found the Wien unprotected by nets Austrian searchlights failed to pick tip the torpedo boats which launched their torpedoes against the Wien and another battleship. Indescribable confusion followed among the Austrian ships in the harbour. The torpedo boats escaped amidst violent fire from the shore batteries.
