Virginia Pearson plays the title role and the story gives her immense scope in portraying ,tlie character of a woman who risks all that is dear to a woman to save the man she loves. "Daredevil Kate" is merely a woman possessing all the idiosyncracieis of her particular type. Her seductiveness leads her into the meshes of a net of im':rigue which brands her with scorn and duplicity. Then the elf.'max of lier career is reachedl and she sets herself the task of overcoming dis_ grace. The manner in wW'ch she gains redemption is said to provide one of the -most amazing thrills of a remarkable picture. There is no-increase in prices and no war tax.
