Two little schoi!a.is, -U.i\ Keys and May White, rendered as a duet, ''Lite is a River," -very sweetly and Misses Connie Blackburn and Dors Denipsey sang the duet "\ oicos from Alar" which wai: also pleasingly rendered. .Miss Xessio Williamson presided at the- organ and had as-sociatedi with her Mrs Mould and Mis,- Williamson (violins). At the annual social this (Tuesday) evening, an intore.l';ing part of the programme w'll be a competition in recitations among scholars-, who will be grouped in three classes -according to age-, and points will be given for the class of recitation rendered, and. for the style of rendering. Mir Ken. Ai.tken and Mr W. Thomson have kindly consented to act'; as judges. ilVo prizes, first and second, havu. been allotted' to each class and tliiat keen interest is being taken by tho scholars is already ■evOc'tenced by the entries received. Other pleasing items will bo solos, duets, ajid choruses by ;;he scholars us rendered at Sunday's services, lie ports of the working of the school during the year will be submitted by Mr H. H. Cork, the .secretary, and Mr 11. Keys, the superintendent. - There will also be short addresses by Ministers, representing schools in connection with other churche;-. There will be a collection Ai aid of the Sunday School funds, while admission will be free, and all are heartily welcomed. The gathering will be held in the Church'.
