[ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.] Epxr press association.] Received This Day, 9.10 a.m. Melbourne, Nov 27. 'A mysterious tragedy occurred at Tranvool 011 November 10. A cabman *3irove Mrs Taylor and lier twelve-year-old stepdaughter to Trawool where tho woman stated she was going to nurse lier sister. Subsequently their bodies, with the heads smashed wero found in tJie Goulburii river. A sum of £150 were sewn into the woman's underclothing. A photograph of a soldier named Arthur Oldring was discovered amongst the woman's belonging and he was recognised as a man who has been missing from Seymour camp. Tie was seen in the vitiinity of the scene oi tlhe tragedy and has been arrested.
