The annual visit of two Palmers ton rinks to Levin took place yesterday and a couple of enjoyable games resulted on the local green, tooth ending in a win for the visitors. Twentyone head!® were played ahd by a curious coincidence the scores in both; riniks were 13 to 9on the 15th head. From thfe out, however, the visitors forged aheadl, and eventually Avon by a fair margin. The final scores were: — Palmerston.—Jewell, KeiV'lake, Nicholls. Lancaster, President of the Levin Club, thanked the Shannon bowlers for the hospitality with which they had treated the visitors, especially mentioning the ladies for the excellent afternoon tea provided.
