A good demand existed for all stock, andl practically a total clearance was mad© at the following prices. Fat heifers, £13 to £14; light fat cows £12 15s; vealers, £2 to £5 10s; 2-<year empty heifers, £9 to £9 Is; 3-year steers, £13 ss; well conditioned 3-year .steers, £15 10s; 2-J-year steers, £11 3s Gd; yearling heifers, £4 14s, £4 !16s 'to £5 os; yearling steers, £5 lis, £6 Is to £7 17s; 2_year steei?, £10 2s 6d; fresh -conditioned cows, £10 2s; store cows, £6 10s to £7 10m ; aged bulls, £7 to £9.
