STOCK ON ROADS.
The ranger, Mr G. Watson, reported to Saturday's County Council meeting that i'olie roads were fairly clear of wandering stock. There wag an abundance of grass on all roads now. He had lal'd informations against three persons. On Or. Catley's motion it was decided to call the ranger's attention to the stock on the road's at niglit in the Te Horo riding. He .said tlicre had been complaints from motorists. On Gr. Ryder's motion, seconded by Cr. Freeman, iii was decided that the ranger 'be instructed not to impound, stock on the district roads of the Otakfci, Wirokino and Tokomarn 'ridings between the hours of 8 a.m. and G p.m. till further noitice.
