Hard fighting followed at a number of points, particularly the high ground northward of the village, a collection of tortified buildings, and s ..me strong points on llio Goudberg Spur. Nevertheless, the troops made steady progress and had captured at an early hour Passchendaele village, Mosselmarket, and Goudberg hamlets. They gained all their objectives before mid-day and made a number of prisoners. It is raining at intervals. Our guns are dealing effectively with the enemy's batteries and concentration of infanory. Later. We are consolidating tho positions gained yesterday.
