OBITUARY.

THOMAS HORROBIN

Deep regret will be felt throughout the district'at the announce ment to-day of the death of Mr Thomas Horrobin, the well-known resident of Ohau, the sad event occurring on Thursday after a few days' illness. He was 68 years of age, and had lived for many years •on-this coast, chiefly at Te Horo, Otaki and Manakau. Five years ago he settled at Papaitonga- He. ■was a man of fine character who was generally looked up to and respected. He had many friends who will learn with deep sorrow of his passing hence. •' The late Mr Horrobin was twice married and he leaves a wife and .six sons to mourn their loss. The family has a notable war record, all six boys being in khaki. The sympathy of the whole district v will go out to them in the sorrow that has fallen upon their home. : The funeral will take place in Wellington on Monday.
