Palmerston Show.
« ' WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. •Everything promises well for the Manawatu Show at Palmerston on Wednesday and Thursday. From a purely agricultural and pastoral point of view the exhibition will be well up to the standard of' its predecessors, despite the shadow of the war. In general interest, for those desiring a day's outing, there will, as usual, be plenty to hold the attention, and, generally, the show will be found both instructive and entertaining. Though no holiday is being observed in Levin on people's day, quite a large number of people both in the town and district are expected to make the trip on both days. Intending visitors to Palmerston srom Levin, are reminded of the train arrangements for Thursday. On that day, a relief train will leave Wellington at 7.45 a.m. for Palmerston, leaving Levin at 10.24. All passengers from here must travel by that train or the ordinary train at 1.30 p.m. The return journey must be made by the train leaving Palmerston at 4.43. No other trains will take passengers from or to Levin.
