Bowling.

Foxton Herald. This year a triangular competition, which it is intended to make an annual affair, will be played between the Foxton, Shannon and Levin clubs. Three matches will be played, one on each of the three greens, and the home club will play four rinks against two rinks each from the other two clubs. The first contest has been fixed to take place on the Shannon green on November 14th, when four rinks from that elub will play two rinks each from Levin and Foxton. The second match will be played on the Levin green on December nth, and the last at Foxton on January 9th. The club gaining the highest aggregate score throughout the competition will be the winner, and it is hoped to provide a shield to be held by the winning club each year.
