PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.

We are asked to state that, at the instance of the Manawatu Trotting Club, and for the encouragement of horse breeding, a special class has been added for Registered Brood Trotting or Pacing Mare with Foal at Foot, by a Pacer or Trotter. Prizes are £4, £2, and £l. This offer was not in time to be included in the schedule, and those interested are requested to pass the information on. Entries for all live stock divisions and competitions are due to close on Saturday next, the 13th instant, and late fee entries up to Saturday, 20th instaat. For the information of draught horse exhibitors, attention is drawn to error in schedule which says that the Knight cup is for mare with foal at foot. This should be for mare with two of her progeny. Entries are rapidly coming to hand now, and keen competition is looked forward to in all classes. Schedules may be had on application to Box 85, Palmerston N.
