EVERYBODY'S PICTURES.
DIVINITY OF MOTHERHOOD.
To-night, at Everybody's, the much-talked-of proble m play, the " Divinity of Motherhood " is to be screened. It is one of a series of film sermons originating from the American studios, designed to impress upon a pleasure-loving people their duties to the nation to which they belong. " Where are my children ?" gave one side of the problem, and.the "Divinity of Motherhood 1 " powerfully presents the answer. It is a touching story, told with all the force and artistry possessed by some of the most notable picture stars. A support film, " Diana, the Huntress," is added to give variety to the pro- , gramme.
Friday and Saturday see the Fox films again to the fore, and for the first time Levin picture patrons will have an opportunity of seeing Nance o'Neil, the emotional actress, who has been recently won over from legitimate drama to the ranks of the silent storytellers. In " A Woman's Past," this noted artist has a theme which suits her particular style of genius. It is a domestic drama in five parts, tensely absorbing and rising to a most powerful climax, in which the heroine displays her emotional powers to their fullest extent To this feature film is added the additional attraction of the second episode of the "Broken Coin " serial, which is to run for 22 weeks, and which is getting a grip on the followers of the tobe - continued stories. Humour will be well represented by a Fox comedy, in which the riot of the fun is interspersed, with many of those astounding incidents for which the films are noted.
